Harissa lamb koftas on whipped garlic yoghurt

Lamb koftas - makes 6


250g lamb mince

1 clove garlic, grated

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp ground coriander

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp dried mint

Generous drizzle of spicy harissa dressing

1 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp yoghurt

1/2 tsp grated garlic

1 tbsp olive oil

Handful fresh parsley

Handful chopped pistachios


  1. Combine the lamb mince, spices, garlic, harissa dressing, olive and salt and pepper. Roll into balls and chill in the fridge whilst you make the whipped yoghurt.


  1. Mix the yoghurt, garlic, olive oil and season to taste.


  1. Fry the lamb koftas in some olive oil in a pan until browned all over and cooked through.


  1. Spread the yoghurt onto a plate, top with the koftas, more harissa dressing, parsley and pistachios.
