Anyone who knows me well, knows that gyoza and noodles are two of my favourite ingredients. Add some crunchy veg, some of Yep Kitchen’s hunan salted chilli’s, and a very generous drizzle of tahini & lime dressing to give you a refreshing creamy finish, and you’ve pretty much chosen my death row meal! This is a great work from home lunch staple, or a quick and easy midweek meal.
Serves 2:
2 nests of udon or rice noodles (I like Yutaka)
6 Itsu pork gyoza
Fresh coriander, roughly chopped
Handful of spring onions, sliced
1 red pepper, roughly chopped
1 heaped tsp Yep Kitchen hunan salted chilli’s
A generous squeeze of tahini & lime dressing
A pinch of salt
1. Cook your noodles and per packet instructions.
2. Fry off your dumplings in a little oil, and then pour over a little water and cover, then let them steam to finish cooking.
3. Meanwhile, prepare your veg.
4. When your noodles are cooked, pour them into a bowl and top with your fresh veg, a pinch of salt and drizzle over the tahini & lime generously. Add the hunan salted chillis (go easy if you can’t handle the heat!) and mix well. Finish by topping with your crispy gyoza.
